They now receive 2 or 3 feedings (out of 8 total) by bottle each day. What they don't take by bottle is then given to them via their NG tube. The past few days we haven't been able to get them to take their entire feeding by bottle, but usually during the night time feeding they do. And yesterday was a first for Bill when he gave Brandon his bottle feeding.

In other good news the boys are still in their open cribs! Their temps got a little low a couple of nights ago so I took in a couple of sleepers we had and then their Grammy bought a slew of warm sleepers at Once Upon A Child. Last night's nurse seemed hell bent on taking off some of their blankets insisting that they shouldn't need them, that their body should adjust accordingly. But I don't know why removing blankets couldn't be done more gradually, after all they had only been in their open cribs less than 48 hours! She said that a baby should only need to be swaddled in one blanket with one blanket on top of them (and they had 3 blankets on top of them starting out). But I think its down right cool in that pod at times. Oh well, hopefully Colin and Brandon will "climatize," as they say, and be able to maintain good temperatures. Here is a picture of Colin in his sleeper:

And this is just a cute picture of Brandon all swaddled up (and not liking the camera flash):

BTW Fuzzy they still have their blue knit caps that you made them, they were just at home being washed :)
Lastly they both had a hearing test yesterday and passed. Yay!
Happy Fourth of July everybody!!
