When I got home from work yesterday Brandon decided to show us his new trick. He grunted and groaned until he pulled himself up on their toy chest, which was pretty amusing. Until he stood up on the toy chest which freaked us out. Something about a toddler falling from an elevated position on to the hardwood floors and possibly landing on his head is a little unsettling. We moved the toy chest to be under the kitchen island. But it won't be long and they will be climbing up on the couches and chairs and anything else they can explore. Oy. Though I think we have been lucky that they haven't started climbing sooner. Here is Brandon looking very proud of himself:

And here he is looking like trouble:

Also we are thinking about legally changing their names to Co-Brandon and Bra-Colin, since we seem to say those so often. We're not the least bit confused on which little stinker we are talking to (though it happens most often when scolding them or telling them not to do something), but for whatever reason we often times start to say the other boy's name and transition to the correct boy. I suspect we are not the only parents to ever do that.
Lastly I forgot to include this video in my last post, which some of you have already seen. Both boys love to dance, sway, or shake their booty to any kind of music. It is especially cute when we go to the nursery at bedtime and Brandon hops behind his little DJ booth (aka activity table) and pushes buttons to make it play music and light up and he starts dancing. In this video Colin joined him in the dancing.
Merry Christmas and happy holidays everybody!
